Ruby's Unbirthday Birthday Party
I forgot to include Ruby's Family Birthday Party with the other August events, so I am adding it now!
Ruby's Birthday is July 8th and she had a birthday party with her little friends to celebrate. Then she refused to acknowledge that she was 5 years old, until she had a family birthday party. After over a month of insisting that the family must come to her Birthday Party, Tricia finally gave in and baked a cake and invited us over to celebrate!
She was SO excited when her cake was brought out and we all sang Happy
Birthday to her!
Cousin Evie (Ruby's BEST friend) was just as excited as Ruby to celebrate the occasion!
Tricia made "treat bags" for all the kids.
The party was August 20th, the day before the Eclipse, so Preston was trying out his eclipse viewing glasses .
Little Preston broke his leg in July when he fell out of a tree that he was climbing. This only slowed him down for about a week and then he became very fast on his crutches.
The birthday girl is now officially 5 years old and is playing with one of her gifts. It is always fun to have family get-togethers so no one minded this unbirthday celebration!
