November and December have been busy months - sound familiar? So here comes my catch up post part I!

Hal and I were invited by both Aleeya and Preston to attend the third grade program for Grandparents. It really was delightful with well prepared songs and speaking parts and refreshments after the program Of course the stars of the show (at least for us) were - Aleeya and Preston!

You can see that they even had a Christmas tree up for us to enjoy.
Roy, Dixie, Cynthia and Paul
We shared two dinners together - the first night Mike and Paul barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs for us - they were delicious! The second evening, we went to a local cafe for a dinner and it was also very good! I must also note that Paul, Mike and Cynthia cooked breakfast for us and it was yummy!
The Gabrielsen siblings minus Pam (we missed you!)
November
Preston's Birthday - November 16, 2015
We enjoyed dinner at Outback.
Then we went to Allison and Jon's for Preston's favorite dessert - key lime pie.
It was a great evening together.

Kay and Ken's Farewell
The last weekend of November, we traveled to St. George for Kay and Ken's Mission Farewell before they left for the Sendai - Japan Mission.
Pam and Roger kindly let John and Cindy and us stay in their beautiful home. they were in Hawaii with Roger's siblings celebrating Roger's Mom's 90th birthday.
Kay and Ken both gave awesome talks - we were so very proud of them! All reports of their mission thus far prove them to be wonderful missionaries!
After the meetings, we gathered at Kay and Ken's home for a delicious lunch and some time to visit with each other.
The Siblings and Spouses minus Pam and Roger and Tom - (who were all greatly missed!)
Looks like we all have the same new year's goals - to catch up our blogs! You have been busy with fun get-togethers! Cute pic of Preston with his Key lime pie, and, speaking of green, I love those matching school shirts for your grandkids' program. l Cool that you could get together with Mickelsens in the new cabin. Isn't it amazing when you look back how many things happen to record.
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy, lots of comings and goings and special days to celebrate. I'm sure you LOVE having most of your kids and grandkids so close.
