We have returned from our 3 1/2 week trip to France, Greece and Italy. We travelled with our Caldwell friends - Bob and Susan Taylor. We began our trip in Paris and spent 1 week seeing the sights of France as we travelled across the country on our way to Italy. Thank heavens for a GPS - that really helped us to find where we wanted to go!
Our second week was spent on a cruise of the Greek Islands with stops in Split, Croatia, Corfu, Greece, Santorini, Greece, Mykonos, Greece and Crete. We sailed in and out of Venice.
The last part of our trip was spent exploring Tuscany. We home based in Cortona and visited 20 cities, many of which were ancient hilltop towns with lots of fascinating history. We loved the food and all of the beautiful scenery but when the time came, we were ready to return home after all of our adventures. Europe is wonderful and travel is exciting but of course - home is best.

Oh my gosh, Patty, that tour looks fabulous! I clicked larger each picture, and the scenery is spectacular! You two look adorable - I love Hal's skipper hat and your pretty blue coat and scarf! I am so happy for you that you got to see, EAT, and do all of those wonderful things and I can't wait to talk to you about it all. I want to hear all of the details!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to spend 3 1/2 weeks!
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a trip. Those are places I'd absolutely love to visit; and now I've done it on your blog. Maybe in real life later. So glad you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing all your pictures. It looks like you had a wonderful trip. You both look so cute! It looks like France was a little chilly. The pictures of Normandy, Mont st. Michel, and the Loire valley brought back so many great memories of our trip to pick Devin up from his mission.I'm so glad you are home safe.
ReplyDeleteI think Devin is about to start crying! We are so jealous of your trip. It looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great trip. We loved San Gimingnano when we went a few years ago thanks to your suggestion. That is such a quaint, romantic place. I relived our Tuscany trip through your pictures. Ah, the gelato!
ReplyDeleteNext time I need to shoe horn in on this! And my mouth is watering over all the gelato you had!
