Beautiful Fall Colors and Women's Conference

This is the view from our deck of the fall colors beginning to show.

A few days later on October 2, we drove up Payson Canyon on the Nebo Loop and the colors were in their full beauty!

Bright yellows, reds and oranges mixed with the greens and browns against a blue sky - I love the combination of colors. We are so blessed to live in this beautiful world!

We stopped at one of Payson's Lakes. I like the reflection of the landscape mirrored in the water.

We were treated to views of the mountainsides with splashes of fall color mixed with the  green of the pine trees.

We stopped several times to take pictures and get a closer look at the bright colors.

As we followed the road to higher elevations, we could see some of the damage from the terrible fire of September 2018.

Near the summit, we could look out over the valley below.

As we began our descent into Nephi, there were more beautiful scenes.

We are so grateful to live in such a lovely place!

Women's Conference

I invited my daughters, daughter-in-laws and granddaughters to come to my house so that we could watch Women's Conference together. Not everyone could make it that evening but it was still a good experience to be together and talk about the conference afterwards and enjoy cake and ice cream. I also had pictures taken with everyone who came.

 

My grandkids are growing up so fast!!
