Payson Quilt Show
Every year the quilters of Payson and the surrounding area have a quilt show at the historic Peteetneet school house - now community center. I love to see the beautiful handmade quilts and spend some time with my girls.
Hailey, Allison and Tricia went with me this year.
After the quilt show, we went to lunch at Daltons. It was a fun outing together!
Evie's Birthday Party
Cute little Evie Marie turned 3 on September 27. She was so excited to have a birthday party with the family. The theme was Doc McStuffins - her favorite TV show.

You can see the delight on her face as she opens her gifts.

Smith's Visit
Our friends from Eagle, Idaho - Becky and Steve Smith(who were our Mission Pres. on our first mission) came for conference and of course they wanted to see the beautiful new Payson Temple. Friday, October 3rd, we attended a temple session together. They brought us a lovely gift of a painting by the Russian artist Mikhail Nesterov of Christ's visit to the ancient Russians. They are dear friends and always so generous - we share many precious memories of our time together serving in the Russia Novosibirsk Mission.
I can't believe how much Evie looks like Sara's Lucy. I just noticed that. So fun that you get to go to family gatherings and celebrations. I love the Smith's. I saw that painting at your home and wondered if it was Russian. What a beautiful gift.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to go with you to that quilt show! I have such a happy memory of going with you to the Springville Quilt Show. What a darling little girl Evie is! That is such a cute age! And what an amazing gift the Smiths gave you! You aren't kidding when you say how generous they always are. What a treasure and how fun to get to see them!
